The challenge

Everyone sits quietly and tries to count as high as possible — one number at a time. Sounds simple, right? There’s a catch… no talking, planning, or gestures allowed!

How it works

1. The class starts at “one.”
2. Any student can say the next number — but only one person can speak at a time.
3. If two people talk at once, or someone skips ahead, the count resets back to zero.
4. Each person can only say one number per round.

Work together (silently!) to see how high your class can count before chaos strikes.
