Cloud Spotting

Instructions

Step Outside

Take the class outside or have them gather by a window with a clear view of the sky.

Find Your Clouds

Encourage everyone to get comfortable and start scanning the sky, looking for interesting shapes in the clouds.

Spot & Shout

Ask students to call out the shapes they see—anything from animals and faces to objects and imaginary creatures.

Share the Stories

If there’s time, encourage kids to create short stories about what they see in the clouds. What’s the cloud animal doing? Where’s it going?

Wrap Up

Finish by asking everyone to share their favorite cloud shape and what it looked like to them. It’s a fun way to encourage creative thinking and a little outdoor relaxation!
